This Site does use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help the Site analyze how users use the Site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. This may potentially include collection and transfer of video viewing activity on our website. IDEAL’s use of third parties related to the videos on our website is limited to serviced providers who are under contract with IDEAL to support the posting and viewing of video content on the Site. Google Analytics information is used for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Site, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services relating to Site activity and internet usage for IDEAL and its affiliates. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies and disable the sharing of this information by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this Site.
4. How We Use Your Personal Information and Our Legal Basis
We will only use your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy or as disclosed to you prior to such processing taking place. To the extent required by applicable law, we rely on a number of legal bases to use your information in these ways. If you reside outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”), Switzerland or the United Kingdom (“UK”) (together referred to as the “European Region”), the legal bases on which we rely may differ from those listed in this Section, please see applicable policy in Section 9. a) Service Providers
We share Personal Information with our service providers that will process Personal Information to help us operate our business, perform services on our behalf, in compliance with this Privacy Policy and other appropriate confidentiality and security measures to support our core business functions and internal operations including without limitation: fulfilling orders; delivering products; complying with your requests; analyzing customer data; administering our promotional activities; supporting beacons; processing credit and debit card transactions; investigating fraudulent activity; conducting background or financial checks; surveys; and providing customer service. . Such service providers must process the Personal Information we share with them only on our behalf and for the same purposes for which the Personal Information was collected. We only share Personal Information with third party providers to provide the services described in this Privacy Policy.
b) Parent Company, Affliates and Subsidaries
We share Personal Information within our corporate family for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and as required or authorized by law. Affiliates are those companies that are under common control of our parent company IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC.
c) Industry Partners or Sponsors
When you register or enter a promotion, sweepstakes, or contest through our Services, we may share the information you provide with Service providers (as described above in 4). Further, by entering any promotion, you are agreeing to the official rules that govern that promotion, which may require you to take certain actions, including, except where prohibited by law, allowing IDEAL and/or the sponsor(s) of the promotion to use the information in advertising or marketing associated with the promotion. d) Third Parties in Connection with a Corporation Transaction
Unless prohibited by applicable law, we may share, transfer, or delete your Personal Information if we are involved in a merger, sale, acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, bankruptcy or other change of ownership or control by IDEAL or any affiliated company (in each case, whether in whole or in part). If required by applicable law, any such sharing of Personal Information will be reported to regulators in accordance with the applicable law.
e) Law Enforcement, Regulators and Other Parties for Legal Reasons
We may also share Personal Information with Third parties as required by law or subpoena, or if we reasonably determine that such disclosure is necessary to: (i)comply with any law or legal process applicable to us or a request from law enforcement or other regulatory agency; (ii) to protect the rights, privacy, property, interests or safety of our company or our affiliates, customers, business partners, suppliers, employees or the general public; (iii) to pursue available remedies or limit damages; (iv) to enforce our Terms of Use or protect the security or integrity of our Services; (v) to respond to an emergency; and (vi) as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
6. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES
Our Services and other materials may include content that is served by third-parties or links or references to third-party websites and services that we do not operate. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other Tracking Technologies to collect information about you when you use our Site. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content. We do not control these third parties’ Tracking Technologies or how they may be used. A link or reference to a third-party service does not mean that we endorse it or the quality or accuracy of information presented. If you visit a third-party website or otherwise interact with that third-party, you are subject to that third party’s privacy practices and policies, and we do not accept any responsibility or liability in this regard. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any Personal Information that you provide to these other websites and services. 7. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your Personal Information is maintained on our servers and those of the categories of recipients listed in Section 5. We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to ensure your Personal Information is protected from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. For example, we limit access of your Personal Information to authorized parties, periodically inspect, assess, and evaluate the effectiveness of our technical and organizational measures designed to ensure the security of our processing, and limit our collection and use of your Personal Information to the extent necessary to provide you with our services.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. You should not share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Site like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Site.
No system or online transmission of data is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of Personal Information. Any transmission is at your own risk, and we request that you use appropriate security measures to protect your Personal Information. 8. RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will keep your Personal Information or sensitive information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. To determine the appropriate retention period for Personal Information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of Personal Information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your Personal Information, the purposes for which we process your Personal Information, whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and all applicable legal requirements.
9. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Residents of various states in the United States or various countries may provide their residents with certain privacy rights and choices related to use of Personal Information. Consistent with appliable law, you may exercise the rights described in this Section, which may vary depending on your country, province, or state of residence.
Please note that, some of your privacy rights are subject to certain exceptions and there may be instances where we may be legally permitted to decline your request to exercise your privacy rights. For instance, we cannot disclose specific pieces of Personal Information if the disclosure would create a substantial, articulable, and unreasonable risk to the security of the Personal Information your account with us or the security of our network systems. There are also exceptions to deletion requests if the information is necessary to complete a transaction, for internal uses aligned with expectations, compliance, and legal obligations, or for other internal purposes in a lawful manner compatible with the context in which the consumer provided it. Should we determine that we cannot complete your request, we will notify you with an explanation as to why we are unable to complete your request.
Alternatively, you can exercise any of the rights above, subject to applicable law, through the contact options set out in Section 14 entitled “How to Submit a Request.” Please note that if you decide to exercise some of your rights, we may be unable to perform the actions necessary to achieve the purposes set out above or you may not be able to use or take full advantage of the services we offer.
• Right Against Discrimination. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of the rights described in this section.
• Right to Know. You may request us to provide you the specific pieces of Personal Information that we have about you, categories of Personal Information we have collected about you, categories of sources from which the Personal Information is collected, categories of Personal Information that we sold or disclosed for a business purpose about you, categories of third parties to whom the Personal Information was sold or disclosed for a business purpose, and the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling Personal Information. Please note that much of the information for which you can make a request is already contained in this Privacy Policy.
• Right to Access. Upon your verifiable request, we will provide you with a copy of certain Personal Information we collected about you during the 12 months before your request in a portable and readily usable format.
• Right to Delete. In certain circumstances, you may have the right to request the deletion of your Personal Information. Upon your verifiable request, we will delete any Personal Information we have collected from you or maintain about you, subject to certain exceptions, including information that we are required to retain by law, regulation, or to protect the safety, security, rights, and integrity of IDEAL.
• Right to Opt-Out from the Sale of Personal Information. The CCPA, along with several other state privacy laws, broadly defines “Personal Information” and “selling” such that sharing identifiers and identifiers linked to you in exchange for money or other valuable benefit may be considered a sale. We do not sell Personal Information for monetary value, and to the extent that CCPA, or other state privacy laws, define targeted advertising as selling, the following categories of Personal Information that fall into this category include online identifiers associated with a devise used to interact with our Site such as your device type, IP address used to connect your computer to the internet, cookies, web beacons, pixel tags or similar technologies. You have the right to opt-out of having your Personal Information sold. We do not disclose your information to third parties for purposes unrelated to our products and services in exchange of monetary value or other valuable consideration. • Right to Correct. You may request to correct or update any inaccurate Personal Information about you in our files. We may provide you with the ability to update some or all of your Personal Information directly via the Services.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sharing Personal Information. We use certain advertising cookies, pixel or tags to serve targeted online ads and to measure their effectiveness, including ads that are selected based on Personal Information obtained from your activities over time and across nonaffiliated or distinctly branded websites, applications, or services. You can opt-out from sharing of your Personal Information for targeted advertising.
• Right to Limit the Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Information. In certain states, such as Virginia, we collect and process “sensitive Personal Information” with your opt-in consent. For certain other states, such as California and Utah, you have the right to request that we limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive information to certain disclosures permitted by law, such as affiliates and service providers as needed to provide employee-related services, government agencies or other regulatory bodies for reporting purposes, performing services, detecting security incidents, preventing fraud or illegal actions, third parties in connection with corporate business transactions (such as a merger or sale of a business) and other organizations as permitted or required by law. Please note that the definition of sensitive Personal Information varies by state, so your rights with respect to specific types of information will depend on your state of residency.
• Right to Appeal your request. In certain states, you may have the right to appeal our decision regarding a request related to these rights. Please explain the reason you believe your request should have been followed and any correspondence you may have had with us or our agent prior to your appeal. We will escalate your concerns to the appropriate members of our team to address any issues you may raise in your appeal.
• Right to File a Complaint: In certain countries, you have the right to lodge a complaint about our practices with respect to your personal information with the supervisory authority of your country or state.
• Designating an Authorized Agent. Some state law permits residents of that state to designate an agent to manage their rights under state law. If you would like to designate an agent to manage your privacy preferences, you may do so by contacting us pursuant to this Privacy Policy. Note, that if you do not have an account with us, we may ask for some Personal Information in order to verify your identity and your rights to the data subject to your request. We will also need sufficient Personal Information about your authorized agent to be able to identify them. As part of this process, you must have permission from your authorized agent to disclose their Personal Information to us for the purpose of acting as your agent.
Marketing emails and SMS communications:
• If you prefer that we do not to process your Personal Information for marketing purposes, please be sure that any relevant boxes on forms we use to collect your Personal Information are unchecked. • If you wish to unsubscribe from marketing-related emails, click the unsubscribe link in one of our marketing emails. • If you wish to not receive marketing tests from us, reply “STOP” to cancel texts, or complete and submit a Privacy Policy Submission Form. Please note that “opt-out” and “unsubscribe” requests may not take effect immediately and may take a reasonable amount of time to receive, process and apply, during which time your Information shall remain subject to the prior privacy settings. Additionally, you should be aware that any Personal Information provided to third parties prior to your election to opt-out or unsubscribe will not be retrieved or rescinded, unless required by applicable law. Please note that even if we stop all marketing communications, you may still receive administrative, legal, and other important business communications from us.
Rights of individuals in Australia: If you are located within Australia, you have the right to access Personal Information about you that we hold, and you may ask us to correct such Personal Information to ensure that it is accurate, up-to-date and complete. There is no charge to submit a request or to correct information, however we may apply an administrative charge for providing access to your Personal Information on request.
Rights of individuals in New Zealand and Canada: If you are located in New Zealand or Canada, you have the right to request access to your Personal Information and to ask for it to be corrected, if it is inaccurate, or incomplete or outdated. For New Zealand residents, nothing herein shall limit your rights under the Privacy Act 2020.
Rights of individuals in China: All personal information belonging to Chinese citizens, is subject to the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL). Please see the linked policy below for more information about your rights.

10. USE OF SECURITY CAMERAS
Enatel, a subsidiary of IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC. use security cameras, closed circuit television (“CCTV”) across their physical premises for the purposes of security, health and safety, employment matters, quality assurance, and customs requirements. The CCTV cameras are installed in public and communal areas only, such as entrances, exits, hallways, parking areas and other strategic locations. Cameras are not installed in private areas. Signage indicating the presence of CCTV cameras is displayed to inform individuals that surveillance is in operation in certain areas. The footage recorded by the CCTV cameras constitutes personal information and is managed and collected in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Recorded footage is only kept for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes of collection and then is permanently deleted. Access to recorded footage is restricted to authorised personnel who require access in line with the purposes of collection. CCTV footage may be disclosed to law enforcement agencies or other third parties when required by law or to assist in an investigation related to criminal activities. Individuals have the right to request access to their personal information captured by CCTV cameras, in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. 11. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
When you access or use our Services, we may transfer your Personal Information to countries in the world where IDEAL conducts business. Such countries may be located outside of the country or jurisdiction where you are located and may have data protection laws that are less protective than the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside. In such countries, we will still handle your Personal Information in the manner describe herein. IDEAL complies with laws on the transfer of Personal Information between countries to help ensure your information is protected, wherever it may be.
12. CHILDRENS PRIVACY
Our Services are not directed to or intended for children under 18. If we learn that we have received any Personal Information directly from a child under age 18, or such other age as set by the laws of jurisdictions where we operate without his or her parent’s verified consent, we will use that Personal Information only to respond directly to that child (or his or her parent or legal guardian) to inform the child that he or she cannot use our services and subsequently we will delete that Personal Information.
13. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
In certain US states, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Utah, and Connecticut, you may be entitled to additional rights or disclosures regarding our use of your personal information. Section 12.1. is designed to provide notice to residents of California, however, we will honor requests from individuals wishing to assert privacy rights, including access and deletion rights, to residents in other states in accordance with legal requirements. In some cases, we may provide a different privacy policy to certain categories of residents of these states, such as job applicants.
14. NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVE/LOYALTY PROGRAM DISCLOSURE
Our division, IDEAL ELECTRICAL offers our customers a loyalty program (the IDEAL CHAMPIONS CLUB™) that provides certain benefits or advantages, such as rewards and exclusive offers. We may also provide other programs, such as sweepstakes, contest, or other similar promotional campaigns (collectively, the “Programs”). When you sign up for one of these Programs, we typically ask you to provide your name and contact information (such as email address and/or telephone number). Because our Programs involve the collection of Personal Information, they might be interpreted as a “financial incentive” program under California law. The value of your Personal Information to us is related to the value of the free or discounted products or services, or other benefits that you obtain or that are provided as part of the applicable Program, less the expense related to offering those products, services, and benefits to Program participants.

For everyone’s protection, we must verify your identity for all access and deletion requests. To do so, we may ask you to provide personal identifiers that we can match against Personal Information we already have on file for you. If we cannot verify your identity based on the information provided, we may request additional information from you, which we will only use to verify your identity, and for security or fraud-prevention purposes. We will use the Personal Information you provide for verification purposes only for the purpose of verification. If you are a California resident, you may authorize an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. For your protection, all agent requests will be subject to verification procedures.
